For the former soccer player, the Brazilian attacker would consolidate his career in Germany
The historic Brazilian right-back Marcos Evangelista de Moraes, better known as Cafú, advised his compatriot Philippe Coutinho on Tuesday to stay at Bayern Munich to take advantage of his qualities.
Bayern, Real Madrid and Barcelona suffer transfer drop.
“I would advise him to stay with Bayern. Phil is a sensational football player, extremely talented, smart and dangerous,” he told an international outlet.
Coutinho still belongs to Barcelona, since he came to the Bavarian complex as a loan and with a purchase option for 120 million euros, a transfer that seems complicated in the face of the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The former captain of his country’s team also explained that Coutinho should play in midfield because there he would have more prominence and would be more decisive.
“He has already confirmed his abilities in Barcelona and Liverpool. In the right position, he can make a difference. He definitely has to play in the center. It is much more important for the team.”
